Meet IMV imaging's Account Managers

Even during challenging times, we at IMV imaging are still, as always, here to help you with your diagnostic imaging needs.

We have dedicated veterinary imaging experts in your area and throughout the UK, who are happy to provide advice, support and help whenever you may need it as well as making sure you find the right equipment and training for your practice. Some of our team work remotely and have technology at their disposal that allows them to continue to carry out product demonstrations, install training and provide support to our customers with their imaging equipment.

If you would like to find out more about any of our equipment or already have our equipment and are looking for a bit of extra support, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with an account manager.

A bit about us...

Ben Sullivan - Sales Manager

As Sales Manager, I am responsible for the regional and key account management teams supporting all of our customers in Great Britain.

Initially mixed practice, and latterly equine, vet in the West Country between 2005 (when I graduated from Bristol Vet School) and 2014, when I joined IMV imaging. Interrupted by 18 months spent travelling and working abroad between autumn 2010 and spring 2012.

Father to two children (Felix, aged 3, and Annie, aged 2 months), husband to Rebekah (a vet at the Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon), keen cyclist and triathlete, snowboarder, sea kayaker and walker. Love imaging, in particular ultrasonography, and IT – getting to combine the two as a job is pretty much perfect!

Nigel Perry - 3D Sales Manager

"I’m here to help you with your CT & MRI needs. I joined IMV imaging in 2001 when it was BCF Technology.

With extensive experience in providing veterinary diagnostic imaging equipment and training,  I am here to help our customers with CT/ MRI and finding the right solution for their practice. As well as this, I support equine practices worldwide through providing ultrasound equipment and training. I enjoy my job as it brings together technology, animals and travel which are three areas that really interest me. On top of that vets are great people to work with. I’ve had pets all my life and currently have two ginger cats called Vic and Bob as well as a Jack Russel Terrier called Jeff."

Alan Barringer - Account Manager

“I’m the Account Manager for the East Midlands and I’m here to help by supporting vets in finding the best solutions to their imaging needs. I have been part of the IMV team since 2017. Combining my background in farming and herd health research with my 15 years’ working within the  veterinary industry , I enjoy providing training and support to veterinary professionals and bring value to the veterinary practice. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and our menagerie - which extends to dogs, cats, chickens, tortoise, pigs and ducks.”

Peter Lockwood - Account Manager

"I’m the Account Manager for Southern England. My role is to help ensure people choose the right imaging equipment for their needs and supporting them through applications training to get the most from it.

After graduating from the RVC I practised as a small animal vet before moving to IMV imaging in 2018. My partner is a veterinary nurse so we have amassed a motley crew of animals, including a mini dachshund with megaoesophagus, hyperthyroid cat, guinea pigs, and a blue tongued skink.”

Laura Oldroyd - Account Manager

“I’m the Account Manager for Northern England and I’m here to help customers get the most from their imaging equipment as well as building their confidence with all aspects of ultrasonography and radiography. I graduated from the RVC in 2013 and spent 6 years working as an ambulatory, equine vet before joining IMV imaging in 2019. I enjoy running and am currently training for my next half marathon. The rest of my time is spent looking after my rescue dog Edgar and elderly ex-event horse, Jane who is now enjoying retirement in the Cheshire countryside.”

Stephanie Harris - Account Manager

“I look after our customers in the Midlands and East Anglia to help find them the best imaging solution for their practice.

After graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2015, I moved to California to undertake an internship at Alamo Pintado Equine Center. I then moved back to the Midlands and spent the next 5 years working as an Equine Vet in and around Warwickshire where I live with my husband and our two Tibetan Terriers, Tobi and Coda.

We love exploring the countryside and listening to live music and I have recently bought a young Connemara pony called Herbie who I plan to bring on slowly over the next couple of years.”

Hannah Yeates - Key Account Manager

"My name is Hannah and I am a Veterinary Key Account Manager at IMV Imaging with an aspiration to empower individuals and practice teams to improve the standard of imaging in the veterinary industry.  I ensure practices are advised of the correct equipment for their needs, are confident in obtaining optimally diagnostic images and proactive in the storage and maintenance of their images and equipment.  Since graduating from the Royal Veterinary College I have gained experience across a range of species, with my main passion being equine and companion animal and formalised my learnings by obtaining my Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP). Whilst working in practice I became curious as to where clinical excellence and business meet which lead me to complete a Masters focused on importance of clinical and non-clinical knowledge in practice. I enjoy applying my clinical, application and business knowledge to find solutions for practices to enable them to provide the best care to their patients and clients. Never one to be found unoccupied when not at work I can be found signing up for off road triathlons, developing my spin instructor skill, baking, renovating our house all under the watchful eye of my cat Captain."

Claire-Louise Townsend - Account Manager

“My role as Account Manager is to provide both the best imaging solutions and long-term support to my veterinary customers, whilst uncovering how IMV Imaging can deliver the equipment each clinician needs, to accurately diagnose in practice. While undertaking my Bachelor of Science in Animal Health at Murdoch University in Perth WA, I worked part-time then full-time as a vet assistant for an equine vet dentist in Western Australia for 4 years before making the move to Scotland in 2017, where I spent 3.5 years at Virbac Ltd as a companion animal Nutrition Territory Manager. I have what I like to call, an “international” accent and this is because I have been lucky enough to have lived in 4 different countries – South Africa, Bahrain, Australia and now Scotland! Outside of work I enjoy spending time exploring parts of Scotland with my dogs Wallace and Angus, trying to improve my amateur kitchen garden and working on creative projects at home."

Bryan Gee - Account Manager

“I am the General Manager for the Ireland Business and also an Account Manager for the South of Ireland. I am here to ensure that our customers are being supported in their diagnostic imaging through finding the best products for their needs and following this up with product training, clinical training and service support. With extensive experience in diagnostic imaging equipment, I joined IMV imaging in 2012 and enjoy working with vets to help them get the most out of their imaging equipment. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, going to rugby matches and also breed horses. My wife Rachel is a vet and our lives are kept very busy with two small children, six horses, three dogs, two cats a pot-bellied pig and a cow. Please feel free to contact me for help and advice.”

Fiona McFarland - Account Manager

“My main role is to support our customers in the north half of Ireland, ensuring they get the best advice and ongoing long term support that they need with regards to all aspects of diagnostic imaging. I also organise training and CPD for vets throughout all of Ireland.

Since graduating as a veterinary surgeon from the University of Bristol in 2004, I have worked in farm animal, mixed and small animal practice, and spent the last 4 years working as a locum vet in many practices across the north of Ireland. I am actively involved in veterinary associations locally and nationally and am a volunteer for Vet Support NI, Ireland and Scotland, a voluntary group who are focussed on supporting the mental health and well-being of our colleagues within the profession.

Aside from veterinary work, I enjoy an active social life and being an enthusiastic cook and baker is useful as I love entertaining. I love spending time on the family farm in Antrim and I am a part-time sheep farmer. I also enjoy gardening, DIY, swimming and getting time to walk the beaches of Donegal.
