New learning article: Screening for OPA in sheep using transthoracic ultrasound Watch us celebrate our 100th employee in style!
BCF and Vets Now are two companies both committed to providing the best in animal care. We have worked together in partnership to help Vets Now create an amazing new 24/7 Emergency and Speciality Hospital in Manchester. The Vets Now team saw the benefit in working with BCF, one partner to provide all diagnostic imaging equipment, training and support. The BCF team have recently installed and delivered training for a GE CT system, DR X-ray system, two ultrasound systems, Fluoroscopy and PACS.
BCF Managing Director, Gavin Mitchell added, “We have worked together with the same aims. How can we make the workflow and diagnostic imaging of the animals as easy and smooth as possible for a busy hospital. For example the image management system (PACS) allows images to be displayed throughout the practice. Making it easier and quicker to diagnose and share important information with the owners. It has been great to work so closely with the Vets Now team, to be allowed to provide such a comprehensive imaging solution.”
Paul Wilson from Vets-Now Manchester said, “The training and service we have received from BCF technology has been exceptional and it has really supported the opening of our purpose built 24/7 Emergency & Speciality Hospital. Many of my clinicians had not previously used the equipment we have purchased, so having Kat Evans a Radiographer from BCF on site has really helped my team make the most of the equipment.”
